Question: I am having pain on my right side. It started after being sick with a bad cold/cough that I had for 2 weeks. I thought I was just soar from all of the coughing but the coughing has stopped for over 2 weeks now and the pain is still there. I though maybe a pulled muscle but sometimes it hurts to just sit.

Brief Answer:
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
But better to get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection because lung infection can cause similar kind of pain.
If chest x ray is normal than no need to worry for lung infection.
Musculoskeletal pain is more likely.
Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Avoid movements causing pain.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

OK, lets say I didn't have the cough and just had this pain, what would your thoughts be? The pain is on the right below right breast, kinda goes down and around from there. Would you think the same? I hate going to the Dr but I dont want to ignore anything either.
Not being dramatic, but could that be any liver, colon type issue???
