What Causes Constant Fatigue After Bronchitis Attack?

Question: i had Bronchit last week but i am wondering why i am still feeling sooo weak and so sleepy all the time and have no energy at all? Is it normal after bronchit? and for how long it is normal to go on? And is it good to drink gatorade to give me energy in this case?

I appreciate your concern

The description you gave is very common with use of quinolone antibiotics such as levofloxacin. If the cough has subsided, there is no fever or shortness of breath then these effects including weakness, drowsiness and lack of energy will diminish over the next week or so after completing the antibiotic course. Yes, Gatorade can be taken safely with these medication. However, I would recommend a course of B complex vitamins as they are water soluble and can become deficient after an infection/antibiotics use.

Dear Dr. Khalil:

Thank u for ur feedback. As per ur advise to take vitamin B, my pharmacist have prescribed for me:
One tablet of "Neurobion" and one tablet of "oramin-g (with ginseng)" every morning after breakfast for a period of 20 days. Can u please let me know if those will be good to take as prescribed? If u suggest some other vitamin, then pls let me know its name.
