What Causes Constant Nausea?
Question: I am nauseated everyday. I rarely throw up. My stomach is just uncomfortably sour. I am most certainly NOT pregnant. this has steadily gotten worse over the ladt couple of years. I am prone to headaches and migraines but feel ill even when Im having neither. I have ulcerative colitis but my nausea was the same with and without my medication. I don't get a lot of indigestion just normal bloating with my uc but not a lot of acid reflux or anything. this is affecting my day to day life. sometimes i just want to lie on my bed for the most part of the day. sometimes I eat to try to calm it but it only works for a little while and now I have gained a lot of weight. sometimes it gets so bad my jaw tingles quite bad and I salivate heavily. what could this be? I dont have insurance right now so I cant see a dr.
Brief Answer:
Helicopacter pylori breath test
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, you need to get a breath test for helicopacter pylori infection as it might cause similar symptoms . if the test came back positive you should take helicure for 2 weeks then repeat the test. if the test came back positive then this is most probably gastritis . it should be treated with proton pump inhibitor as controloc and an antacid as ranitidine before every meal. I hope I answered your question . if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion
