Symptoms going on three weeks. Onset one incident of severe vertigo. Thereafter mild dizziness on standing or when sitting. Pretty constant mild pressure headache felt around perimeter. Symptoms relieved lying down. MRI showed no abnormalities.
No diabetes. Slightly elevated blood pressure. Dipping or lowering then raising head worsens symptoms. No meds in use.
Was my response received?

Brief Answer:
Probably two separate conditions.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
In this case, since there was a clear brain and neck MRI, I think your vertigo and dizziness are related to inner ear dysfunction and most probably Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
The type of headache you describe could be a tension headache (the most common type of headache), or may be headache related to blood pressure changes.
Before deciding this, there is need for monitoring blood pressure by measuring it three times a day for a couple of days.
I think you should try a trial of over the counter painkillers for the headache (Paracetamol eg.) to see if there is relief or not.
If relieved, most probably tension type headaches.
If vertigo and dizziness continue to bother you, there is need for a n ENT Doctor evaluation about it, and the possibility of treating vertigo with the technique of canalith repositioning.
Hope this helps. Wishing you good health.
