Brief Answer:
Eustachian tube block or wax in the ear canal...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The annoying noise you perceive in the ear could be either due to blockage of the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear) or presence of wax in the war.

Every Time when you try to open the mouth, swallow, drink or speak, the tube connecting the nose and the ear tries to open up forcing the air into the middle ear. When it does so, this noise can be heard.

Similarly, presence of soft wax in the external ear moves off from the adjoining skin at every movement of the jaw allowing the air to pass into the canal.

My strong feeling is, the former condition could be causing this problem.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water.
2. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.
3. Avoid chilled food and beverages.
4. Try using oxymetazoline or xylometazoline nasal spray to decongest the nose.

Hope with the above measures you should feel fine. Revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.
