Question: Why do I always yawn when seated in my car as well as my husband's car when the air conditioner is on? I do not have this problem anywhere else - not in my home or elsewhere.

What causes yawning is still unclear but it is associated with certain things, number one being drowsiness. Is it possible you feel more drowsy in the car with the air conditioner on?

It is also possible that it is a vasovagal response. The vagus nerve is an autonomic nerve that is involved in a number of physical symptoms when it is stimulated.

I am sorry that this may remain a mystery, but unless you are feeling ill otherwise, it is probably not concerning.
