Brief Answer:
Your problem needs evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
There are so many causes for abnormal uterine bleeding, most common are fibroid, PCOD and hormonal imbalance.
So you should consult again a gynaecologist and get your endometrial biopsy test done because your bleeding is not responding to medical treatment.
If your endometrial biopsy results are negative, you should go for transvaginal ultrasonography or saline infusion sonohysterography to rule out any structural abnormalities.
If everything is fine and bleeding still continues go for hysteroscopy.
You should simultaneously test for thyroid profile, prolactin level and haemogram also.
In this situation, I am advising to my patient combined oral contraceptive along with medroxyprogesterone.
I am also giving non-steroidal anti-inflammatory with Trapic-MF to stop bleeding.
You can go for minera IUCD after consulting your gynaecologist.
I think I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
