Hi
Welcome to the HCM
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Don't worry. Children in this age group are prone to self limiting viral infections. They need just symptomatic treatment and good nutrition. Usually they improve over a period of few days. There is absolutely no need for any antibiotic such as Azithromycin at present.
You may take the following measures to help him:
1. Start him on antihistamine such as Syp. Maxtra or Syp. T-minic. These drugs help in symptomatic relief from cough and cold.
2. Offer him regular feeds and oral fluids such as warm soups, milk etc.
3. In case of repeated vomiting episodes, you may start him on Syp. Emeset.
4. You may also apply vapor rub over chest and back while he sleeps and use a normal saline nebulisations, if coughing disturbs his sleep.
Hopefully this will help you. I would be glad to help you in any further questions.
Take care

1) budecort
2) asthalin
3) levolin .63 mg
please suggest some medicine from the three for his severe cough and throat infection.
You may give Budecort and Levolin nebulisation for relief

Hi
I have gone through your question. It seems that your grandson suffered from pulmonary wheeze in the previous episode. Many a times the toddlers are prone to recurrent wheeze especially when season changes.
As your grandson had cough the whole night, it's most likely due to airway spasm and pulmonary wheeze. You may start him on budecort and levolin nebulisation for relief.
In case, the illness is severe then do a visit to paediatrician for a chest examination and treatment accordingly.
Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
