What Causes Cough During Night Time?

Question: I have cough from last couple of days and it increases in the night as campaired to day ! Plz enlighten me and suggest medicine.

Thanks for answering.

As per your questions, I have only dry cough, no sputum and not having pain in throut. Added to it I do not have cold and sneezing.

Thanks for your information.
If you gets cough only during nights then it might be due to seasonal allergy or due to acid reflux.
I suggest you Levocetrizine 5 mg once a day before bed for 5 days.
Take Steam inhalation before bed.
If you have acidity problem then I suggest you take antacids like pantoprazole 40 mg once a day 30 minutes before breakfast for 2-3 weeks.
Use little high pillow during sleep it will avoid coughing.
