What Causes Cough, Sneezing, Wheezing, Headache, Sinus Pain, Runny Nose And Chest Congestion?
Viral infection with superimposed bacterial infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking in HCM
I am sorry for your situation and i can understand your concern
According to the history it might be a viral condition superposed with a bacterial infection given the fact that you are coughing yellow mucous.
Your symptoms are both from from upper and lower airways (which means nose, throat, trachea and bronchi too)
If you were my patient i would recommend to you the following tests:
Chest x ray
Hemogram
CRP
After having the results your doctor will decide about the treatment.
If they are positive you should begin antibiotics (like Amoxicilini twice for up to one week) associated with local symptomatics (nasal spray, mucolitics and painkillers)
Or you can attach me the results and we will discuss again about what to do further.
If your condition gets worse please go and get medical help
Discuss with your doctor for the above please
