I don't want to be limited for rest of my life because of coughs that annoy. I can feel in my nose nasal drips and keep dry all time in my nasal. Sometime I can't smell and diffcult breathing because of block air in my nasal drips and dryness in my nasal. I keep wet with clothing to cooling off in my nose and can breathing easier after I keep wet but dry keep coming back in nasal feels like a XXXXXXX wall as in my nasal. Do you think coughs could be connect to nasal drips or dryness nasal or being outside allergies? I still have zytrec with D but haven't open yet because not sure if correct product for me. Feel to ask you for your opinion which product I should use to relief my coughs and dry nasal.

Brief Answer:
Here is my suggestions

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back,

I have read your notes in detail, well your history shows that you have some sort of allergy , but i want to assure you that this can be easily controlled and treated , you don't have to worry about that much.

Probably there is something at your new place which is causing allergy all you have to do is to do some home remedies and use some over the counter meds and you will be all fine and you will do great.

SUGGESTIONS:

If i were your treating GP:

1-In my clinic i would recommend my patients A decongestant like pseudo ephedrine twice daily.

2-Tab Allegra-D for allergy control and nasal blockage in night.

3- And a cough syrup.

You should get Allegra-D and cough syrup over the counter.

House hold remedies which can be tried:

1-Steam inhalation.

2-Taking warm steamy shower helps sometimes.

3-Take green tea twice a day and keep drinking water it will help to thin out mucus clogged in your nose and this will help your sinuses and nose to get better draining.

4-Over the counter nasal decongestant spray can be used. But don't use it for long time only use it when really need it.

I Hope this answers your question, if your have more queries feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it. Wish you the best of health.

Stay blessed and keep smiling just like this picture. :)

Regards,

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.

Hi,

Thank you very much for those tips.

I will try those tips to see if will helps. Also, I don't have Allerga-D but I do have Zytrec-D that never opens yet. Just bought 3 months ago and never use because am not sure if it is correct product for me? If you suggest Allerga-D, I will have to exchange Zytrec-D at Rx to get Allerga-D.

I've been allergies for many years with indoor and outdoor. I went to Allergy doctor last summer. She said suggest use window blinds, not use window cloths, make sure wash bed sheets, etc because bed sometimes have mites, pollen inside house that has caused me allergy.

Should I get x-ray for sinus? Just checking to make sure all is ok for inside my sinus. My former mother had surgery on her sinus for third times to clear up in sinus.

By the way, Thank you for helping me all of this and I'm willing to try Allerga-D and cough syrup, nasal spray. I believe that I have nasal spray on shelve which called "Flonase" use one spray in each nostrils.

Thank you for a compliment about my picture:) Once again, Thanks for the tips.

Hi,

You didn"t give me any clues about sinus problems.

Here I will ask you gew things which will help me tell you if you have a sinus problem or not.

1) Do you often have head ache? specially in forehead.

2) Is there any pain in your cheek bones?

3) Do you feel you cheeks heavy?

4) Does you nose get blocked often?

5) If you go in a position like in prostration and touch your forehead to floor , does it get heavy and hurt?

6 ) Do you have nasal drio often?

Plus yes you can use Zytrec-D it han be helpful..you can use it in the place of Alegra -D you dont have to change Rx for that.
