Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed change in colour of your urine to be brown .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem
1) do you have any other urinary symptoms like burning urination ,pain etc
2) Are you taking any blood thinner like Aspirin ?

The brown colour urine suggests source of blood to be from kidney and needs to be investigated .

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Intravenous Pyelography
4) C.T Scan of abdomen plain and with contrast .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you

Brief Answer:
Cause Brown Colour urine needs to be investigated .

Detailed Answer:

Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The cause of brown colour urine has to be traced out .

Considering your age (72 years) a possibility of mass in kidney needs to be ruled out .

Get the tests done which I have suggested earlier .
Thanks and Regards.
