What Causes Dark Spots On Chest And Arms After Sun Exposure?
Question: I came home about 2 days ago from a 4 day stay in the domincan republic, Where i spent most of the time in the sun (beach and pool) I am starting to notice dark little spots (looks like bigger version of freckles) on my chest which are now spreading to my arm, I have also been experiencing Nausea and Diarrhea. Should i be concerned?

The dark spots could be due to exposure to sun and chlorinated water. It would be very helpful if you could provide clinical photograph of lesions for further assessment.
Diarrhoea will be not of concern if the following criteria are fulfilled
1. Absence of Fever
2. Absence of blood in stools
3. Urine output adequate
I would suggest the following
1. Ensure adequate intake of Oral Rehydration solution to prevent dehydration
2. Anti emetic like Domperidone will be helpful for reducing nausea sensation.
3. Probiotic will reduce the duration of loose motion.
