Brief Answer:
postpone periods

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Taking primolut for 2 days wont help.

Now it is late to prepone periods. You can postpone it.

I suggest continue primolut from today till you come back. You wont get periods as long as you are on primolut. you will get periods after stopping primolut on your return.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Thank you doctor for your prompt reply. Is it safe to take primolut n for 12 days? I hope i won't have any adverse effect on me. I am also worried what if it doesn't work for me now and i may get my periods even though i am on the pill. What if i wait until tomm my period day and then if you can suggest some medicine which helps me to reduce the flow. Also last month during my periods my doctor had suggested me to take Pause medicine as my heamoglobin is just 7 and i loose most of it during periods. So my family physician asked me to take this pill 4th day onwards. Does this effect my cycle? This might be the reason i was not able to prepone? I would be highly obliged if you can help me solve my doubts.Doctor please tell me the dosage for primolut n also. How many times in a day should i take the pill. Thank u

Brief Answer:
take pause tablet if you get your periods.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in my response,

Primolut N 10mg dose can be taken twice a day for 12 days safely with out any side effects.
Don't wait for your periods. You can continue the tablet pause given by your doctor in case you get your periods.

Present situation is not caused by tablet pause.

Thank you doctor
i have already started primolut n 5mg pills from yesterday as instructed by you. Should i start taking 2 pills of 5mg twice a day? Also i was told that this medicine has to be taken 3days prior to one's period date. Taking it now won't make any difference. Is it true? I am so worried as 4days of my periods every month are most tragic for me as i get bleed heavily. I cannot postpone my trip and it seems cannot enjoy it too under this stress. Sorry to trouble you but please reply my query.

Brief Answer:
Keep Pause ready

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

5 mg is also good enough. No need to change anything now. Taking now wont make difference. Dont worry.

Keep Pause tablet ready. If you get periods start 3 tablets daily ( morning, noon and night ) for 5 days.
