Hello dear,
Thanks for the query at hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
As you missed your period than I want to ask a few questions from you before giving my opinion.
Are you married and sexually active?
If yes, than get your home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy?
Any other associated symptoms?
How many days delay in your cycle?
It is happening first time?
Are you taking any medication or suffering from any disease?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.
Regards

Hello dear,
There are so many causes other than pregnancy which may cause delayed menses.
The most common causes at your age is due to hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, PCOD, thyroid disorder, anaemia, diet changes, exercise, infection, ovarian cyst, birth control pills and infection.
So as you are not having any other symptoms you can wait for one more week and if you will not resume it than consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined and investigation done to rule out the above mentioned causes.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
Regards

Can u suggest any medicines y bcoz I l be in hostel.... for nw if u prescribe any medicines I could get period as of now and later cmng to my hometown I could have a check up
Brief Answer:
Consult a Gynecologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the long delay in my response.
I can understand your concerns here but for withdrawal bleeding ( to induce period) we are giving progesterone (primolut-n). Prescription from internet health forums will not be honored by your pharmacist. You will need to see a doctor to obtain a prescription.
If you are not concerned about pregnancy, then alternatively you may wait for a week or two. In most cases, period resumes normally.
Hope you can understand.
Good luck.
