What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Abdominal Cramps

Question: I am 32 and have recently missed my period. It is now 7 days late. I have had many negative pregnancy tests in the last week. I have a normal 28 day cycle. I have only ever been late when I have been pregnant. I have sore breasts and am leaking colostum. I also have cramping pain in abdomen. An ultrasound was conducted and they said I had a bleed on my lefty ovary. What else can cause these symptoms besides pregnancy?

Looking at your history this could be due to any of following condition
Hyperprolactinemia leading to missed periods and milky discharge from breast( galactorrhoea)
Bleeding in ovary can occur in ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
Another possibility is PID or ruptured ovarian cyst

Here, I would like further information like
complete medical history like presence of diabetes, thyroid disease or other metabolic disease
Are you having headache or visual problem?

If you can upload me complete ultrasound report and any other relevant investigation you have been ordered during your visit to doctor.
