Question: hello, I have decided to want to have a baby. My partner and I tried last month and I ended up on my period. ever since the cycle passed we've been trying every week for the rest of the month till the next cycle. Up until yesterday my period didn't arrive, I have been having some symptoms but that could have been for the periods to arrive. My period is always on time, yesterday morning I waited and never saw anything, before the morning was over, I wen to buy first response home pregnancy test, I did one right away knowing that it was going to be negative since I did one about a week before. And within the 3 mins, the test had one dark line and one very very very faint line.
and this morning I had a weird pain on my left side also right under my ribs and by 7 I woke up on my period.
I just took another home pregnancy test and it had the same results.
what does that mean for me!? I

Brief Answer:
you'd better do a blood test

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

a negative result requires only one line to be visible. No matter how faint, if a second line appears then the result is considered to be positive. Since you've had more than one positive test but you experienced some bleeding afterwards you should the following:
- a blood test for bets-chorionic gonadotropin, which will be very helpful to determine whether you're pregnant or not and if the test is positive,
- visit your doctor at once to determine the cause of the bleeding.

Of course if the blood test is negative for pregnancy, you would know the reason of the bleeding, it would be your period...

I hope you find my comments helpful!
