Brief Answer:
Modus is for withdrawal bleeding.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can understand your concern, though.

There are so many causes for delayed menses, other than pregnancy like excessive stress, exercise, weight gain or loss, hormonal disturbances, thyroid disorder, PCOD, infection.

You can survive for a blood test, hormonal profile, thyroid profile and ultrasound pelvis to rule out the cause.

Modus (medroxyprogesterone) is a progesterone given in patient to induce withdrawal bleeding in the estrogen primed epithelium.

Hope it Is useful, feel free to ask more questions.

Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
