What Causes Delayed Period Despite Having EllaOne After Unprotected Sex?

Question: Hi my last period start I'm may 13 and had my unprotected sex XXXXXXX 6 I'm afraid to get pregnant to I take XXXXXXX one on XXXXXXX 10 until now my period still not come so I decide to do something it's my 2nd day taking vitamin c 500mg every hour and now I take dong quai 2 tablet 500mg each and parsley viganally and as a tea.Do have any chance to me to get pregnant since I take the XXXXXXX one b4 120 hrs after my unprotected sex.Now were using condom and everytime we have sex blood is come.I don't know now what to do please help.I cannot be pregnant bcoz Im working in UAE and he is working here in germany I just come here for tourist I need to do something.

I can understand your concerns.

I have gone through your query. You have not your period this time,it might be side effect of ellaOne.

you had ellaOne with in 5days,so there are very minimal chances of pregnancy.

Products like dong quai,parsley, vitamin c will surely help in getting periods.so wait for one more week.

If you have little bit of doubt,you can go for home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.consult with your Gynecologist for this.

I have already my period start XXXXXXX 23 it's lightly not same my normal period but same my period wen in using dianne pills before maybe bcoz of the ellaone.
As I read its one of the side effects in just certain times so hope my period will come normal next month.I stop already taking the vitamin c 2nd day of my period but still I'm taking my dong quai atleast 2 times a day and now my menstruation is only spotting.

It is good that you got your periods this month.

You are right,it is because of ellaOne that you have light periods(spotting) but need not to be worry.In 2-3cycles it will become normal.

Though dong quai aids in menstrual problems,overuse of it is not advisable.

Hi I just want to know also how many days will be my safe for unprotected sex bcoz there are people saying that 5 days before and after period there also saying that 7 days.I'm trying to use the calendar method but since my period is not same as normal I'm afraid maybe I'll be wrong to calculate for my safe days.He really don't want using condom he not satisfied coz since before we not using that.I'M the one who take dianne pills for 3 yrs.If we will do sex today can I let him come inside.Sorry for that question.

you can calculate your fertile / infertile (safe) period by Following the steps given below-
1.Find the last period start date
2.Find out shortest and longest period cycles by observing your period cycles for atleast 6 months
3. calculate fertile period
shortest cycle=27 days
longest cycle=28 days
Subtract 18 days from the shortest cycle 27-18=9 days
Subtract 10 days from the longest cycle 28-10=18 days
The 9th day to 18 th day from your last period is the unsafe period.

You can calculate your safe period according to your shortest and longest cycle.
