What Causes Delayed Period While Suffering From Thyroid Issues?

Get your thyroid levels checked
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease, and due to stress.
If you are sure that you are not pregnant, then the delayed periods can be due to thyroid hormone dysfunction.
I will suggest you to get your thyroid hormone levels done to assess whether an increment in dose of thyroid medication is required.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

The tsh seems to be really high. I am on thyrox 25 but have not been regularly taking it over the last one month. My weight is 71 and age is 34. Can you pls suggest the revised dosage? Also, is the dosage based on body weight as well?
Thanks

Take thyroid medications regularly

Deranged levels of thyroid hormones are the reason for delayed periods in your case.
