What Causes Delayed Periods Inspite Of Having Progynova For Infertility?
Question: hello doctor,
my periods have been regular between 25-27days.Last month i visited an RE for infertilitu and was prescribed progynova 2mg twice a day. I took it for 15days. My lmp was on 4th XXXXXXX y periods are a week late today. Did a hpt and was negative. Does progynova delay periods?

Periods can be irregular due to various reasons , such as stress, anxiety, weight changes, exercise, travelling, irregular sleep or diet etc.
If you fail to menstruate within this week, please go for a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan to know the status of the endometrium ( lining of the uterus ).
