Question : I'm 3 months away from my 5 years on Tamoxifen. I'm tired of my pms type symptom...depression, fatigue, etc., so I'm thinking about going off the Tamoxifen early. Is that a problem?

So you are about to complete Tamoxifen therapy with the classical side effects. In my opinion, you can shift over to Letrozole, which is a better-tolerated drug.

The current evidence talks about taking hormonal treatment for about 8 years and not 5 years. Please discuss this with your doctor.
