Posted on Sat, 29 Apr 2017
Question: I'm 3 months away from my 5 years on Tamoxifen. I'm tired of my pms type symptom...depression, fatigue, etc., so I'm thinking about going off the Tamoxifen early. Is that a problem?

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. You can change it to other drug

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details.

So you are about to complete Tamoxifen therapy with the classical side effects. In my opinion, you can shift over to Letrozole, which is a better-tolerated drug.

The current evidence talks about taking hormonal treatment for about 8 years and not 5 years. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Thanks and regards
