Some times even while on antidepressants individuals fail to respond and this results in resistant depression. Associated hypothyroidism, vitamin B12 deficiencies are commonly seen in such patients. If you haven't undergone these tests then go for these tests.

Addition of Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamine especially) to conventional prescription results in better response to medicines. Augmentation of therapy with drugs like Bupropion, Lithium has shown to greatly effective in poor responders. This will result in quick recovery.

I'd advise you to take Omega-3-Fatty Acid supplements which also helps a lot in depression. These are available with most of chemists. These also increase the response of other medicines.

Abilify is Aripiprazole and the drug is an antipsychotic mood stabiliser drug. Fluoxetine is an antidepressant. If these drugs are not working then either the drugs should be changed or should be augmented with some other drug.

Amisulpiride can be used in low doses in place of Abilify and this will help to lift your mood and you will feel better. The drug is safe and helps to increase the antidepressants actions. Other option is to replace the Fluoxetine with some other antidepressant preferably with a SNRI drug. Venlafaxine is better choice and this drug helps a lot in moderate to severe depression. You can discuss with your doctor for either of these drugs.
