Dr. there s a question that why come exhaling s thru one nostril alone while we keep our right palm facing our face over chest . reason for exhalation thru one nostril alone
Brief Answer:
It helps in maintaining potency of both nostril
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms XXXXXXX
While exercising it is a routine practice to block one of the nostril and exhale through the other one and repeat the process on opposite side. This is to ensure potency of both nostril and also to give good feeling while exercising.
In many of the individuals one of the nostril is usually partially blocked because of deviated nasal septum , so this technique helps to certain extent in relieving the blockage.

mam it's not during exercise I have a doubt normally wen we exhale out keeping our right palm facing towards face we breathe oug thru one nostril alone.. this happens for which reason..
Brief Answer:
It is normal phenomenon
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
Majority of individuals have deviated nasal septum which causes partial blockage to one side of nostril and also there is congestion of one side of nose (this keeps alternating as it maintains humidification of air). So preferentially air is exhaled through one nostril which can be felt when the hand is placed facing the nose or breathing on stainless steel spoon demonstrates humidification on one side.
This is completely normal cyclical phenomenon. Deviated nasal septum does not produce symptoms in all the individuals, so there is no cause for concern.
I hope I have now cleared your doubt.
