What Causes Diarrhea After Rotavirus Vaccination?
Question: Hello Doctor,
Our baby completes 5 months by 26-may-2016. He was given Pentavac and Rotavirus vaccines as per the schedule. Visited Rainbow Hospitals today at XXXXXXX and upon Doctor's advice, we have vaccinated our baby for IPV and PCV(prevnar 13) at around 12 pm today. Now, when he pees or poos, we can smell vaccine, both the pee and poo smell like vaccine.
Can you please advice if that is ok. Please let me know if you need more information to advice.
Thank you

Hi Doctor,
Thank you for the reply. No visible changes in him. He is acting normal like any other day.
Here are the answers for your questions.
1. Is it XXXXXXX diarrhea or is it mucoid stools?
It is like everyday's Stool. Just yellow and little sticky
2. Is there any blood in stools?
Nothing
3. Is there any vomiting?
No
4. How is the urine output?
He is peeing normally. See no struggle while peeing
5. How is the baby feeding now?
He is feeding like any other day. No visible changes. He also plays well.
Also Doctor, is it okay that poop smells given the baby is exclusively breastfed. Its not intense smell as such but it smells a bit.
