What Causes Diarrhea Along With Black Stool?

Question: Diarrhea...30% looks normal but the rest is black. Im scared i dont know what this could be from. Ive seen it can be from internal bleeding. Should i be worried about gi bleeding and if so what are the other symptoms? I am also on my period i wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows;
1. I need to have more medical information like what do you mean when you say that 30% of your stools are normal.
It means than sometimes your stool is black and other times it is normal during the day, or a part of a mass is normal and the other black?
Have you had use NSAID's or Aspirin drugs recently?
Have you noticed recently anal lump or anal pain, burning?

2. Black stool usually is seen on GI bleeding and is a strong sign of it.
But it is really black diarrhea all the stool and not some normal and some black.

3.It would be great if you send me photos of stools. So I can check them by myself.

During the menstrual bleeding may happens to misunderstand anal bleeding with vaginal bleeding.
Otherwise I am waiting your photos and more medical information to give you an accurate opinion.

I cant give a photo yet but i will. The black stool has only been the past two days and i assume that it is my period because i have lower back pain and the bleeding is coming from my vagina. Some of the stool is regular color but still diarrhea and then on top is a pile of black stool. No anal pain lump or burning

To my opinion ,regarding from what you are describing it seems to be related with menstrual bleeding.
It is a usually diarrhea but the bleed is from vagina.
So there is nothing to be worried. Otherwise you can send me photos if you will could.
Meantime take rest and use plenty of water.

The black form may be due to clotted blood from menstruation, and seems to be a black mixed with stool.
Otherwise is better if you wait till the next bowel movement and show me the photo, so I can give you my exact opinion.
