What Causes Diarrhea, Fever And Headache?
Question: hello doctor I'm having loose motions , fever and light headache just like hangover since yesterday morning . yesterday i passed motion 5 times and today 3 times. actually on 02-12-2015 i went to some other place for my exam i took lodging and i had veg fried rice on that night. then again i took veg fried rice on next afternoon i.e., 03-01-2016. as usual this night i had jeera rice. (03-01-2016 night) then i returned to my home . that next day on wards (04-01-2016) frequently motioning , feeling light feverish . so how to control this loose motions and fever i mean which medicines should i take and what food do i take . can i take like curd , lassi.

You seem to be suffering from Acute Infective Diarrhea/ Acute Gastro-Enteritis.
Most of the times the diarrhea are viral in origin and it improves with in 3-5 days without any antibiotic therapy. But since you have got blood in stools, we would consider it to be bacterial dysentery,
I would recommend for you antibiotics like Ofloxacin and Ornidazole for.
You should also take Probiotics containing Lactobacillus which helps a lot.
You should consume yog hurt in diet that also acts as a very good natural probiotic.
In case you have any persistent vomiting's you would require anti-emetics like Domperidone and Ondansetron.
Drink plenty Oral Rehydration syrup (ORS) for the purpose of re-hydration.

Doctor if you don't mind ofloxacin is used for what ornidazole is used for what and probiotics is for what I mean these tabs will cure my motions and fever . can u tell exact medicine names which are available for medical shop. I don't have any vomits .and may I know what food is better for me in this situation can I take regular diet as usual or any special food like curd lassi plz tell doctor
