What Causes Digestive Problems When On Treatment For Pain Due To Bulging Discs?
Question: HUSBAND- Diagnosed with 3 bulging discs, constant pain. In 4 days took 2 only acetaminophen/Codeine. Chiropractor treating him for 5 years; spine is able to be manipulated slowly. Chiro treatment today. 4 days ago-started legs buckling. He fell 4 times at night going to bathroom. Has digestive problems and secretes yellow drainage from rectum, oily substance. Occurred once in 4 days and does not occur consistently. Currently not taking nourishment. States no taste of food for 4 days. Drinks approx. 24 oz water daily. Today started drinking Gastrolyte/water (electrolites). Lost 5 lbs. Unstable gait, headache

How can the weakness in lower extremity and slow, unsure placement of the feet relate to dehydration and gastric infection? How many glasses per day of electrolyte/water mixture is required for dehydration? Will visit Dr. for rabeprazole, 20 mg., twice a day for digestive problem.
