Brief Answer:
cannot say for sure but here is some input

Detailed Answer:
The key point is that the bladder is within reach. Rather easily.
So... inflammation....white cells in urine.
Messed up motion of bladder....cystoscopy with pressure measurement
referred pain....quite possible with a back problem, then potentially very simple and doesn't even need a doctor.....if the back is triggering bladder symptoms then when the back hurts so will the bladder. There are several ways this occurs. The nerves to the bladder come out of the back. If there is disk disease, the nerves or the spine can be hit and this can be felt anywhere the nerve goes. Furthermore, generally it will be felt EVERYWHERE the nerve goes , so there will be back pain along with the bladder pain, moving the back can give pain in the bladder.
AND...the bladder is not necessarily affected, so urination might be less messed up than if there were a bladder infection.

Alternatively, the nerves to the bladder can be severely affected and the regulation of the bladder can be totally gone or majorly messed up. In which case the bladder tone is messed up, urinary regulation is messed up and the tone of the bladder on testing bladder control is messed up. There is USUALLY incontinence.

Well... that's the wiring diagram. It probably makes you think you know what is going on. Unfortunately, when physicians were asked what they thought was going on in this sort of condition we guess right only like a coin toss (50/50) compared to the bladder testing which is very very good at predicting the successful ways to treated bladder dysfunction and pain.
So, you can get a sense about what is going on, but bladder function testing with cystoscopy is needed to confirm it.
