What Causes Discomfort In The Throat After Eating Food?

Needs work up and management and supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Heavy discomfort from mouth till stomach after eating and no discomfort while swallowing rules out any dysphagia. The symptoms fit the description of acid reflux or any other gastric discomfort. You need to be evaluated for gastric causes like hiatal hernia,a cid reflux, get some baseline work up, esophageal manometry, upper GI endoscopy to rule out any anatomical cause for this reflux like hiatal hernia or reduced tones.
Meanwhile modify diet and lifestyle, eat small frequent meals, avoid triggers like alcohol, soda, beverages, tea, coffee, spices, chocolates, processed canned foods. Delay lying down after meal for 3 hours . Take dinner early. Eat more fiber and take more fluids. Keep head side of bed elevated. Lose weight if overweight. Exercise more. I am sure these diet lifestyle adjustments will help. Use of some gastric motility enhancing medications and some antacids will help as well.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
