What Causes Dizziness After Discontinuation Of Prednisone?
Question: My wife was on 5 days of predisone and after she finished the dose she feels really weak and dizzy. am worried do i need to take her to the emergency room right away

She had a acute allergic reaction from drinking lite soy milk, her face was swollen and an epi pen had to be administered. By the ambulance staff, before taking to the emmergency room . She was their for a few hrs and gave us a prescription for beedril 25 mg every 6hrs and predisone 50 mg once a daay for five days. the last dose of the predisone was on friday. thanks

Well due to the reaction she might have become weak. So just hydrate her well, give her plenty of water , fruit juices . She shall be alright.
If dizziness and weakness persists then consult yor doctor and get the followig tested .
BP check up, Complete Hemogram , TSH and Serum Vitamin B12 .
