oh and I get headaches a fair bit and bad neck pain
it can be cervical spondylitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that this dizziness can be due to cervical spondylitis. I would recommend you following.
1. You said that you have MRI. Please you send me your MRI report
2.Avoid using very high pillow or keeping neck in same position for long time.
3.Drink plenty of water mixed with salt and glucose.
4.Tablet Stugeron can be taken when giddiness is excessive.
5.Intermittent cervical traction exercises and neck muscle strengthening exercises are helpful.
6. Wear soft neck collar during day time.
Some ear problem can also cause such dizziness. You need to consult ENT specialist for such issues.
I hope this answer will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks

Hormonal imbalance can cause such dizziness
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for quick reply. Dizziness can be cause by many diseases and medicines. Neck problem and ear diseases are most common cause of this. Hormonal issue in post menopausal female can cause weakness and dizziness.I have following suggestions for you.
1. Salt will not cause increase in BP suddenly. Some time there is postural hypotension and it can be corrected by salty juices and lemonade.
2.you need to check your MRI of neck and inner ear examination once again.
3.Stugeron is a drug used for giddiness. It acts on brain. It has cinnarizine in it.
It may need prescription in some countries.

Cinnarizine is available as sea sickness medicine
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is very uncommon to have high BP on standing and low during lying. I have never seen such patient in my practice. I will suggest you pursue with a physician or cardiologist.
You have not mentioned if you had MRI of the neck or brain. If you have not done MRI of the neck than I would suggest you to discuss your doctor about it and get it done.
Stugeron is also called sea sickness medicine. If you have not taken it till now it is very effective in giddiness. It contains Cinnarizine . It is available over the counter as sea sickness medicine in quite a few locations. If you don't find it, you can get it online.
let me know if there is any other questions.
thanks
