What Causes Dizziness And Ringing In Ears While On Reduced Dose Of Estrogen?
Question: I have ringing in my ears, also dizziness. I take estrogen, was on a generic drug for anxiety. I started going off the anxiety drug by reducing it to 1/2 dose. I also have scoliosis. For the last 6 months, I have had pain in the hip sometimes running into my leg. My dr has ordered two mri's. Both test came back not anything going on as far as the bone part. The dr seems to think it is inflammation. Could this be part of my ringing in the ears & dizziness too?

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
From what you are reporting you have scoliosis and bone inflammation which may be related to rheumatismal disorders. Rheumatismal disorders may be responsible for neck spine abnormalities which may be the cause of dizziness and ringing in the ears.
This is why you should contact a rheumatologist together with an ENT specialist to find out what is causing your symptoms.
Wish you health!
