Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what should i do about a bone inflammation? first, I went to the doctor because I felt literally a nook/crevice in in my shin bone. went to docs, they didn t wanna give me an X-ray but simply but me on antibiotics. now the tissue around there is hard, and right in the inner side lining of my shin it hurts...what wrong and what should I do? could it be a baker cyst?
As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
