What Causes Dizziness, Difficulty In Breathing And Increased Heart Rate?
Question: I have been experiencing dizziness out of no where, I try to breath in and I can not get a nice deep breath! I also have heart raising at time. I am not to worry about the breath as much as the dizziness and I feel like am somewhere else.. I have been in a lot of stress lately but this is just to much!
Brief Answer:
see a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It may be that all your symptoms are due to stress but you really need to see a doctor for a good examination of your lungs and heart. You will need blood tests to make sure that you are not anemic and to check your thyroid. At your young age it is likely due just to the stress but you do not want to miss a medical cause for your symptoms that could be corrected.
Please do what you can to lower the stress levels and do whatever you can to treat yourself kindly and get some enjoyment in life.
Please let me know if you have further questions,

Thank you! I do need to do blood work. I keep putting it off. It seems like all I want to do lately is sleep and I sure do not enjoy myself as before! Thank you
Brief Answer:
you are welcome
Detailed Answer:
It would be good for you to get checked and treated if there is a problem. Stress can do some bad things to the body so try to take care of yourself and make some time for low stress and fun activities.
I wish you the best.

I come home from work and feel much better however I feel like a sleeping all day! I do believe is anxiety or stress.. or both. any suggestions to try to lower my anxiety? or do you think at this point I need a prescription? I have been feeling like this for about 2 weeks. I am so done with it.. I want it gone :(
Brief Answer:
not sure you need a prescription
Detailed Answer:
If it has only been going on for a few weeks you probably do not need a prescription, but you really do need to find out what is going on. If it is a thyroid problem or anemia you may need a medicine to correct that.
Other than that exercising every day, even if only walking for 30 minutes can help decrease stress. Eating healthy foods and taking a multivitamin can help repair some of the metabolic damage that is done by stress. Drinking plenty of water and avoiding sweet drinks and alcohol may also help.
Decreasing the amount of carbohydrates in your diet can really increase your energy as sweets and starchy foods give you quick energy then leave you feeling tired.
I hope you get some relief soon
