What Causes Dizziness, Headache And Lack Of Concentration After Delivery?
Question: Since I was 20 weeks pregnant I kept getting dizzy all the times like I felt as if I am on a boat and it's hard to focus and concentrate also I have Thropping pain mainly on the top right side of head and now that I delivered 6weeks ago I still feel the same symptoms I get dizzy all time and I'm afraid to go out or to sit in a crowded place because I can't focus and feel dizzy even more. I have done all blood works and all came back good I also had a brain MRI and came back clear I also went to an ENT and everything was good . Then what could it be ?
Brief Answer:
Possibility of migraine headache
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This may be due to migraine headache which can appear in pregnancy and may remain post delivery too.
Since your investigations and MRI was normal then you should take treatment for migraine.
At this point you should take timely meals, proper sleep. Avoid fasting , excessive coffee, tea and chocolates.
For treatment you can take beta blockers like propranolol for prophylaxis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
