What Causes Dizziness While Bending The Head?
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to cervical spondylarthrosis (chronic degenerations of the cervical column).
These chronic changes of the backbone lead to narrowing of the vertebral arteries while bending the head, causing low blood flow to the brain and dizziness.
Another factor to take into consideration is high blood pressure, which can lead to further narrowing of the cerebral arteries and aggravate dizziness.
From the other hand, you should know that lialda could also cause dizziness as an adverse effect. How long have you been taking this drug? Have you made any changes in the dose lately? Nevertheless in such case the dizziness wouldn't be related to head bending.
I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a cervical column X ray study and a Doppler ultrasound of the cervical vessels to examine the blood flow to the brain.
A complete blood count would also help exclude possible chronic anemia which could aggravate the dizziness.
Meanwhile, I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure and refer the values to your doctor, to consider any changes in your actual therapy.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Hope to have been of help!
