What Causes Dizziness?

Question: i am feeling dizzy XXXXXXX when i get up or lie down at bed - or turn head while i turn sides .
i am normal when i am stadning or sitting or sitting down or getting up from chair .
i am having this feeling from 4 to 5 days and its mild some times and moderate it times .
i checked my BP it is 120 / 85 - consistent

my mother and sister had problem of vertigo from past 20 years but i have never faced vertigo ever before .

You are having typical history of Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo ( BPPV ). It is due debris in semicircular canal ( Balance mechanism in inner ear ). If you assume same position repeatably which causes vertigo , it severity decrease for some time. This condition can be confirm by performing Hallpike Manoeuvre ( Positional Test ) by an expert in vertigo clinic.
I will suggest you to please consult your ENT doctor because here clinical examination is very important to diagnose the real fact and accordingly treatment may be planed.
This condition can be treated by performing Eplep's manoeuvre by an expert in vertigo clinic.
