Question: My grandfather becomes dizzy in the morning and when he has his arms over his head. His blood pressure is also low.

Dizziness and low blood pressure is a common findings in elder patients. In patients that are taking blood thinner and anti hypertensive medications these symptoms may be caused from:
- hemorrhage
- hypotension.
This is the first thing to do is to stop blood thiners and to lower the dosage of anti hypertensive medications.
If he was my patients i would also recommend the following examinations for a more accurate evaluation of his situations:
- Blood work
- ECG
- BP monitoring
- Abdominal ultrasound
