Skinlite contains hydroquinone,isotretinoin and mometasone. It should be applied in the night with a good sunscreen lotion in the morning
Since it contains a steroid so it has side effects as well it may cause thinning and drying of skin, so if you skin is drying up than you should discontinue it and you can switch over to other preparation like kojivit which contains kojic acid and vitamin c

Other than ointment please follow these guidelines for healthy skin
Have plenty of fluids to maintain good hydration
Have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
you should take multivitamin and minerals supplements especially vitamin E and vitamin C with other B complex.
Avkud direst exposure to the sunlight.
