Drug Induced Effects
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them and conclude that all your symptoms are drug induced. Here are the details:
1. celexia has salt Citalopram Hydrobromide whicn in few patients causes chronic cough as an adverse effect.
2. oxibuten & vyvance both drugs on individual basis causes dry mouth. As you are taking both drugs in combination so you are having "severe dry mouth" problem. In medical terminology it is termed as xerostomia.
Suggestion:
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and ask him to change the salt of your medication as they are causing adverse effects. As soon as the salt is changed you will see improvement in your symptoms. Meanwhile i would suggest you following for temporary relieve of your symptoms:
> Glycerin oropharyngeal gel. It is a saliva substitute for dry mouth.
> Take Diphenhydramine + Dextromethorphan for cough thrice a day
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
