Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it can be because of COPD because such patients tend to breathe from mouth rather then nose which leads to dryness of mouth . It will gradually subside as your breathing pattern will improve . You must have been prescribed some inhalers for this condition . Next possibility at this age can be sjogrens syndrome in which there is dryness of mouth and eyes which can also present similarly .
