What Causes Dry Throat, Breathing Difficulty And Choked Nose?
Question: Hi sir,
i take mclazide-m for diabetic twice a day. i also take urimax -d one in night, my problem is that my throat gets dry in the night, i feel difficulty in breathing due to choked nose. i dont have clod even then. does urimax-d cause dryness of mouth? i dont get proper sleep also because of dry mouth & breathlessnes. pl advice.

Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
Urimax is known to cause dryness of mouth , nose and throat,
Talk to your doctor if it bothers you very much.
For the dryness of mouth you should take lots of fluids continuously.
For the dryness of the nose you can use normal saline nose drops - 20 drops in each nostril 4-5 times daily or as often as required.
Avoid fan and airconditioning as far as possible. Alternatively you can use a humidifier in your room.
