Question: Hi doctor, I had a sex with prostitute yesterday. I kissed her lips for 10-15 seconds. Next day i am feeling there is a dryness in my throat. I sucked her nipples continuously for 5 to 10 minutes. I thought she is smoked or addicted to drugs. My throat is giving some hard feeling. Will it cause any infections or stds please give me the answer thank you

Brief Answer:
Unprotected sex can cause STDs and HIV infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Unprotected sex and oral sex can cause transmission of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV infection.
Sexually transmitted diseases are syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes simplex infection, donovanosis etc.

Dryness of throat can be due to core throat and it does not signify any specific disorder.
Genital symptoms like rash, itching or lymph node enlargement in the genital region suggests sexually transmitted disease.

Unexplained fever, diarrhea and sore throat for 1 month period is suggestive of HIV infection.
If any of the above mentioned symptoms are present, you need to consult your primary health provider for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus treatment.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Brief Answer:
No risk of STD or HIV, no remedy required

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The chances of transmission of STDs and HIV infection are negligible since you had used barrier method.
Contact with intact skin will not transmit any STD or HIV.
However, kissing can transmit viral infection i.e. epstein Barr virus infection.
Epstein Barr virus is not a sexually transmitted infection.
It is a simple viral infection which causes symptoms of fever, lymph node enlargement, fever etc.
Since you have mentioned that you are experiencing some awkward feeling in the throat, you can go for saline gargles.
If there is soreness or pain in the throat, you can consult your primary health provider.

Thanks and take care

Dear Doctor,

Here i am again writing the post. Please read it once. I had a protected sex with prostitute 5 days before. During sex i kissed her lips for 5 to 10 seconds and sucked her breasts for 5-7 minutes. I licked her body parts like cheeks, ears, neck etc. The total intercourse happened for about 20 to 25 minutes. It was my first sex with prostitute. She also licked my chest and other body parts like cheeks. she also gave oral sex on my penis which is protected with condom. During the intercourse i touched her vagina with my fingers and finally ejaculated into her vagina when my penis was inside. I am pretty sure that condom on my penis was intact and it did not broke or torn. She said she is from Istanbul. After the sex she take off my condom and i had a bath. When i came back i again washed my penis with soap. The condom used was moods and i am sure it is not expired. After the next day i was unable to control the feelings and did my self a hand-job with another condom and its totally hurted my penis. Due to that rubbing sensation of penis i was getting itching sensations all over the genital region.

Now its the fifth day that sex was happened. First day after the sex my body was sweating and there was a hard feeling in the throat. Now it is not there.

Second day i got a mild fever and it just lasted for 2 to 3 hours.

Itching and tickling sensation around the penis is still continuing. And also it started all over the body parts like cheeks, ears, nose, chin, fingers, some times on legs, hands fore head etc. what are all these symptoms? Any infections? Do i need to get tested for any STD's? Please Clarify me. If its just a skin allergy then recommend me any ointment or medicine for it. I am waiting for your reply. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
No chance of STD or HIV. Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
There is no chance of transmission of STD or HIV infection.
Do not worry.
The sore throat or discomfort in throat is significant if it is persistent and accompanied by other symptoms like fever and diarrhea.
The itching could be due to irritation and does not signify anything serious.

Dear doctor, I got a small pimple on the butt and it is itching. I also have mild fever.
What might be the cause. Is it due to the usage of latex condoms or allergy from the used bed sheets? I dont have any sore throat.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Shailja Puri (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Infectious lesion suspected.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

A pimple can occur due to folliculitis, carbuncle or boil.
All these lesions are due to bacterial infection.
Associated fever suggests bacterial infection.

Do not touch or scratch the lesion.
Analgesic can be taken for the fever.
An antibiotic ointment can be applied on the lesion.

You can consult your primary healthcare provider for prescription of antibiotic.
Usage of latex condoms will not cause a lesion on the buttock region.

Thanks and take care
