Brief Answer:
Could be early Slipped dosc /Muscle sprain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
The dull pain on your Left Lower back on coughing could be due to slipped disc (early Stage) Or due to Muscular strain.
I suggest mild pain killers and regular exercises to strengthen your back muscles. Wait for 2-3 weeks and if there is no relief then go for MRI Lower back.
If you improve then continue with the exercises.
Thanx for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
