Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
Uterine ablation is a procedure to destroy uterine lining through various methods.
In your case if you are having E- coil infection after the procedure it can be due to infection from bowel or vagina.
Bowel perforation can be a side effect due to the procedure but in your case as you are not having any other symptoms maybe infection come from vagina during procedure.
You should continue your antibiotics as prescribed by your treating doctor to relieve the symptoms.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.

I didn't have ecoli before my surgery, just had a recent pap. Negative on everthing. My stomach and lower back is hurting, running a low grade fever
Brief Answer:
Need more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Stomach ache, fever and lower back pain can be due to infection.
But if bowel is perforated than there is no or minimal bowel sound( can be found on examination), flatus does not pass and vomiting and constipation are the symptoms.
E.coli infection come from vagina also during procedure because it is normally present in vagina.
