Posted on Mon, 12 May 2014
Question: I am having hear pain from couple days, as per medical history I had DNS 7 years back and felt much better after the surgery, however from last couple of weeks I am having ear pain and headache almost constantly. I have consulted an ENT specialist sometime back but according to her everything is fine, she only prescribed to take steam, which I am doing, but I am still not recovered.

Brief Answer: Does the steam help? Detailed Answer: In this case it is very likely that the ear is hurting because the 'Eustachian tube' (a muscular tube that connects the ear to the throat) is blocked. The steam should help. If it does not you might want to try an Over the Counter antihistamine tablet like Cetrizine 10mg. This should bring down the pain. If that is also not working. Then Take Imol plus and get back to another ENT for another opinion. I hope this helps. Feel free to follow-up Vinay
Note: Consult an experienced Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist online for further follow up on ear, nose, and throat issues - Book a Call now.
