What Causes Elevated SGOT And SGPT Levels In Blood?
Question: my SGOT AND SGPT IS VERY HIGHT 215 AND 150 AND NOT DOWN ..
Brief Answer:
these changes could be because of fatty liver.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
When ANA and other viral markers are negative and according to you there is a fatty liver ,then these changes can be because of fatty liver itself.
But you need to cut down your weight amd diet modification is must along with medications .
take tab ursocol 300 mg twice a day for 2 months tab EVION once a day for 3 months .
Repeat LFT after 3 months with proper diet modification and weight reduction ,still its persistently high then we can consider to work up further with complete autoimmune profile and if needed liver biopsy.
hope this information helps you.
Thank you
