What Causes Elevated SGPT And SGOT Levels?
Question: dear Dr,i had 20% fibrosed liver(7.7) in liver scan on 05/18/2015. i had the serum levels of SGOT=29.77,SGPT=43.81,Bilurubin=0.88,lipid profile HDL-30,LDL-139.2,HCV non reactive.I had HBV immunisation with Engerix B. i was given T.Heptral,400mg(b.d),t.Roliptin 5mg (o.d),t.Multigates,T.Gate,T.Essentale.i am taking the above drugs for the past 50days.now my SGOT -43,SGPT60.22,Bilurubin-1.08,HDL-44,LDL-67.kindly suggest why SGOt &SGPT has increased.now,What to do
