Question: I have a high alkaline phosphatase level of 131. Is that bad?

Alkaline phosphatase is a liver enzyme.
It is elevated in cases of obstruction of external biliary tract.
The obstruction can be within the biliary tract eg stones, or can be external to the biliary tract.
However, in cases of obstruction, the levels are quire high and value of 131 is only marginally above the normal range.
Is the level of alkaline phosphate associated with abnormal levels of other liver enzymes?
If yes then there is some abnormality in the liver and biliary tract.
However, the alkaline phosphate level is within lim
No need to worry.

You need to monitor the levels of alkaline phosphatase

Hello amd welcome again,

If you consume alcohol then avoid it.
Menopause status can also cause slight elevation of high ALP.
You can monitor the levels of alkaline phosphatase.

You have not mentioned about other liver enzymes levels.
At the same time you can get an uyltrasound abdomen to know the status of biliary tract.
